Complaints
Out of embarrassment, proctological symptoms are often hidden and care is put off. Yet an early examination means simpler treatment. The examination is carried out with the patient's comfort and privacy in mind, using a special numbing gel and individual sterile instruments.

Approach
Since 2012, Dr. Hasanova has been filling out a special examination sheet that she drew up herself for every patient. The location and nature of the problem are recorded precisely, which helps in planning the subsequent treatment.
The examination is carried out with a special numbing gel and with individual, sterile instruments.
During video proctoscopy, the image the doctor sees is also shown to the patient on a monitor.
Most proctological operations are performed under spinal anesthesia, and the patient can stay awake throughout the operation. General anesthesia or light intravenous sedation is also possible; the choice is made together with the anesthesiologist.
During the first month after the operation, the patient is invited to scheduled follow-up visits.
The entire examination and treatment process is carried out in line with the principles of medical ethics and medical confidentiality.
Female patients often feel more comfortable seeing a female doctor. Male patients are seen as well.
